Maine is 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the CAA Football standings. The Black Bears sit in a fourth-place tie in the standings with Stony Brook and Richmond. Maine saw their five-game winning streak snapped last weekend at home to Villanova.
The Series
This will be the sixth meeting between the two schools. Maine owns a 3-2 series advantage with the home team winning each of the previous five meetings. The Blackbears earned a 23-10 victory last season in Orono, while the Seawolves claimed the last meeting in LaValle Stadium 19-7 in 2014.

Jordan Gowins share more than just the carries out of the backfield, the two are first cousins. Bedell, a junior from Mastic Beach, N.Y., and Gowins, a sophomore transfer from Bellport, N.Y., have family blood running through their veins. So far in 2016, the duo has combined to carry the ball 253 times for 1,082 yards and 12 touchdowns.
