Brooklyn, N.Y. – The 2016 season concluded for the Stony Brook volleyball team Tuesday night with a four-set defeat (19-25, 25-20, 17-25, 23-25) at the hands of Northeast Conference champion LIU Brooklyn at the Steinberg Wellness Center. With the loss, the Seawolves finish the season at 8-21, while the Blackbirds improve to 16-14 entering the NCAA tournament.

Morgan Kath (Muskego, Wis.) notched 41 assists to go along with career-highs in digs (22) and kills (6).
