The Seawolves were defeated by Albany and Binghamton in a pair of road matches last weekend. Emily Costello had a career weekend for Stony Brook, averaging 3.43 kills/set and 3.29 digs/set.
Scouting the Stags
Fairfield is 24-5 in 2016 and holds a MAAC-best 17-0 conference mark. The Stags have won 18 straight matches dating back to Sept. 14.
Skyler Day (4.28 kills/set) and Megan Theiller (4.06) are the top two players in the MAAC in kills. The Stags are outhitting opponents .251-.150 this year.
The Last Time We Met: Fairfield
Stony Brook dropped a four-set decision to Fairfield Sept. 5, 2014 at Columbia. Nicole Vogel had 45 assists, 16 digs and three aces in the defeat.
Scouting the Hawks
Hartford is 5-18 on the year and 2-8 in the America East after falling at New Hampshire Saturday. The Hawks play their final four matches of 2016 on the road.
Paulina Modestow leads the Hawks with 2.91 kills/set, while Paola Llerandi paces Hartford with 2.73 digs/set.

Taylor Wilson had a match-high 16 kills, but the Seawolves fell in four sets at Hartford Oct. 15.
Scouting the River Hawks
UMass Lowell is 6-20 in 2016 after dropping matches to New Hampshire and Sacred Heart last weekend. Sunday's match will conclude the 2016 season for the River Hawks, who are in their final year of transitioning from Division II to Division I.
Katherine Claybaugh leads the River Hawks with 2.81 kills/set, while Lindsey Visvardis has a team-high 4.04 digs/set.
The Last Time We Met: UMass Lowell
The Seawolves swept the River Hawks Oct. 14 in Lowell, as Stony Brook limited UMass Lowell to a -.063 hitting percentage.
Serrano Named to Stony Brook Hall of Fame
Seawolves alum Jessica Serrano-Plugues '00, the program's all-time leader in kills with 2,205, was inducted into the Stony Brook Athletics Rita and Kurt Eppenstein Hall of Fame Oct. 14.
