The Stony Brook men's tennis team extended its winning streak to two matches with a 6-1 win Wednesday vs. Hofstra.
The Seawolves (5-4) lost only five games on their way to earning the doubles point. The duos of senior Jose Morales (Bradenton, Fla.) and Samuel Taieb (Triel-sur-Seine, France) and junior Tyler Hoffman (Sayville, N.Y.) and freshman Rodrigo Ristow Hadlich (Balneario Camboriu, Brazil) both won 6-1 at No. 1 and 3, respectively.
Junior Raphael Termat (Nice, France) earned a 6-2, 6-4 win over Marcus Smith at No. 1 singles. Stony Brook also won singles matches at No. 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Junior Kenzo Kauffmann (La Croix, Switzerland) claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6.
Hoffman, Ristow Hadlich and Morales won their singles matches in straight sets.
The Seawolves will face Sacred Heart Saturday afternoon at 12:30 in Fairfield.
