Stony Brook announces second annual Seawolves United Road Show

April 26, 2016

STONY BROOK, N.Y.  – Stony Brook Athletics has announced the dates for the 2nd Annual Seawolves United Road Show for fans, alumni and supporters to come out and learn more about how to become involved with Stony Brook Athletics and to meet some of the coaches and student-athletes that make up Long Island’s team.

The high energy "Road Show" experience will be held on May 10, 17 and 18 and will feature new head men’s basketball coach Jeff Boals, head football coach Chuck Priore, head women's basketball coach Caroline McCombs and Director of Athletics, Shawn Heilbron.  Several student-athletes and other members of the athletics department staff will also be in attendance to share the vision with Seawolves fans.

Coming off its first appearance in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, the momentum for the men’s basketball program is at an all-time high as Coach Boals enters his first year at the helm.  Over 275 new season ticket deposits have been made for 2016-17 and the season is still five months away.  Football is poised for a great year after a terrific season of spring ball and the return off the nation’s top ranked defense.   Coach McCombs led her team to a 17-15 record in 2015-16 and is ready to make a run at the conference title next season.

Each event is $35 per person that includes a two-hour cocktail reception. Click  here to register. For more information please contact Andrea Lebedinski at andrea.lebedinski@stonybrook.edu or (631) 632-4647.
