The Stony Brook men's tennis team won its third straight match with a 6-1 win over Sacred Heart Saturday at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center at Yale University Saturday.
The Seawolves (6-4) captured the doubles point with a pair of 6-4 wins at No. 1 and 2.
Juniors Kenzo Kauffmann (La Croix, Switzerland) and Raphael Termat (Nice, France) clinched the doubles point after each team won one flight.
All five of the singles wins came in straight sets.
The middle of the lineup featured wins from freshman Samuel Taieb (Triel-sur-Seine, France) and junior Tyler Hoffman (Sayville, N.Y.).
Termat earned a 6-3, 7-6 victory over Brian Power at No. 1.
Kauffmann beat Cory Seltman, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 6.
Stony Brook will face local rival St. John's on April 6.
