Quoting the Seawolves
Head coach Chuck Priore
"Congrats to Temple. I thought they played really well and really hard. I'm disappointed in our first half, specifically on the offensive side of the ball and special teams. We didn't help our defensive in any scenario. We only got one first down in the first half and we are not going to win football games that way. We regrouped at halftime and played with a little bit more sense of urgency. We continued to complete even tough it was clear we were not going to win the game, but we completed."
Notes
- FB Anthony Anderson made his first career start in today's game.
- QB Pat Irwin and DB Synceir Malone made their first career appearances in today's game.
- DB Jaheem Woods pulled down his third career interception with a pick in the second quarter.
- LB Noah McGinty recorded a career-high seven tackles in the game. He had six solo stops to go with one assists.
