Sacred Heart is 3-0 this season with wins over Stetson, Valparaiso and Marist. The Pioneers, led by fourth-year head coach Mark Nofri, begin Northeast Conference player next week when they visit Wagner.

This will be the 15 meeting between the two former Northeast Conference rivals. The Seawolves own a 10-4 series lead, including a 6-3 record in games played at Stony Brook. The two schools have not met on the gridiron since the 2006 season, Stony Brook's last in the NEC.

In conjunction with Uplifting Athletes, the Seawolves are holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive during today's game in support of research for Medulloblastoma, the most common malignant brain tumor in children. With each touchdown scored today, money will go towards raising awareness and research funds in honor of
