LAKE CHARLES, La. – Stony Brook's baseball team dropped a 7-0 decision to Missouri State in the second game of the Lake Area Classic on Saturday afternoon at McNeese State's Joe Miller Ballpark.
The Seawolves (0-2) scattered five hits on offense and a trio of pitchers surrendered seven runs on seven hits, while striking out seven Missouri State batters (1-0).

Missouri State jumped out early with a two-out, three-run home run in the top of the first inning.
