West Point, N.Y.—Stony Brook faced off with Army and Bryant Sunday Feb. 26
th at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Seawovles fell to Army 0-4 and then bounced back to beat Bryant 4-0.
"We came out a flat in doubles and didn't capitalize on our opportunities. We were up in the unfinished matches, so the score really doesn't show how close the match was. When we play Bryant later today we need to capitalize on our opportunities, so we come away with the win not our opponent," said assistant coach DJ Wilson.
"Our guys came up with a fantastic result to cap off the weekend. By playing some of our best doubles of the weekend our guys took the doubles point and then continued to apply pressure to Bryant as they took five of the six first sets in singles. Extremely proud of the way we competed this weekend against three really good teams," added Wilson.
