New Haven, Conn.—The Stony Brook men's tennis team goes 1-3 at Yale 4-Way against Fairfield, Marist, and Yale.
"We would of liked to seen a little more of a complete weekend, than we had. We started off really well against Yale as a team. But we seemed to lose our focus and toughness as the weekend progressed against Fairfield and Marist. That was disappointing to see since throughout the spring our team has shown a lot of both in tough matches," said assistant coach
D.J. Wilson.
"One of the bright spots on the weekend was Raphael getting a very impressive win at #1 singles position over Tyler Lu of Yale who is ranked #65 in the country," said Wilson.
