HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Five goals in the fourth quarter fueled a late rally for the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team, but it wasn't enough to get by No. 7 Hofstra as the Seawolves fell 11-9 at James M. Shuart Stadium Tuesday night. The Seawolves move to 4-3 on the season, while Hofstra remains unbeaten, sitting at 7-0 this year.
Nagle's Reaction
"I was proud of the way our team continued to fight tonight," said head coach
Jim Nagle. "We just did not put away the opportunities we needed in the end. The game was won on shooting percentage, but the good news is we can improve in that area."
