In addition to Resk, who totaled six hits on the day with four runs scored and four RBI, freshman DH Nick Grande (Smithtown, N.Y.) went 3-3 in game one with an RBI and two runs, sophomore C Sean Buckhout (West Nyack, N.Y.) had a three-run double in game two and senior 1B Casey Baker (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) hit a two-run home run in game two to highlight the offense that totaled 17 runs and 21 hits in the two games combined.

Game One Turning Point
Stony Brook got down 3-0 early to Sacred Heart (7-21) before the Seawolves got on the board with a single run in the third and sophomore LF Dylan Resk's (Ardsley, N.Y.) blasted his first home run of the game over the left field fence to tie the score at 3-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning. Stony Brook plated two more runs in that inning and five more in the fifth in break it open.

Game Two Turning Point
Senior 1B Casey Baker (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.), who went 2-2 with a pair of runs and two RBI in the game, opened the bottom of the 9th with a walk, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by junior 3B Bobby Honeyman (Massapequa, N.Y.), and came in to score the winning run when sophomore LF Dylan Resk's (Ardsley, N.Y.) drove the ball down the left field line for a single.

Quoting Head Coach Matt Senk
"The guys have been doing a great job offensively in this series and in this homestand and it was the same today. Dylan Resk had a big day and Casey Baker had another big hit and has been great in RBI situations. Everybody has been picking each other up and getting big hits when we need it. The offense has been really hitting on all cylinders and hopefully we can continue that tomorrow and when we get back to conference play again next weekend."
