STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The No. 4 Stony Brook women's lacrosse team had 11 players score and matched a season-high in goals as the Seawolves downed America East foe Binghamton 20-4 Saturday afternoon at LaValle Stadium. With the victory – the Seawolves' sixth-straight win – Stony Brook improves to 11-1 and 3-0 in the America East, while the Bearcats drop to 5-8 and 1-1 in conference play.
Coach Spallina's Take
"I thought we played really well at the draw circle and did some great things offensively, having 11 goal scorers and assisting on 15 of 20 goals. One of the things that makes us a good team is how unselfish this group is and how many different weapons we have. The biggest thing for us is to continue focusing on us and keep getting better."
