STONY BROOK, N.Y.-The Stony Brook volleyball team is ready to continue America East play at home against Binghamton and UMBC. The Seawolves will take on the Bearcats Friday night, and the Retrievers Sunday afternoon.  The Seawolves enter the weekend riding a six game winning streak. 

Scouting Binghamton
The Bearcats come into the match with a 4-13 record (2-2 AE). The team is coming off a 1-1 weekend that consisted of a 3-0 victory against UMass Lowell Friday, and a 3-1 loss against New Hampshire Sunday.  Binghamton is led by senior outside hitter Gaby Alicea, who averages 3.53 kill per set, giving her a total of 212 for the season so far. 

Scouting UMBC
The Retrievers come into the weekend with a 4-14 record (0-4 AE). The team is coming off losses against New Hampshire and UMass Lowell. UMBC is led by outside hitter Carmen Freeman. The sophomore averages 3.24 kills per set, giving her a total of 233 for the season so far.

Last Time Out
Stony Brook is coming off a huge conference victory against Albany. The team defeated the Great Danes in four sets. The regular season victory against Albany was the first since 2014.

In the Ranks
The Seawolves lead the America East in assists with 780, averaging 12.00 per set. The team also leads the conference in kills with 838, and is second behind New Hampshire in digs with 1,1,93. 

Sakowicz Earns Weekly Honors
Junior LeAnne Sakowicz (Wauconda, Ill.) received her sixth weekly conference honor this week. Sakowicz was named Setter of the Week. 
Sakowicz averaged 11.75 assists per set in the victory against Albany. The Wauconda native ended up with 47 assists in the match.
