STONY BROOK, N.Y.- The Stony Brook volleyball team defeated New Hampshire in a four set battle (18-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-23). The Seawolves improve to 15-8, and the Wildcats fall to 9-13 on the season. 

Coach Belzung's Reaction
"What a fun match! Across the board I thought tonight was just competitive and gritty volleyball on both sides of the net. New Hampshire played crazy defense and kept every ball alive which stressed our offense. We had a serving run in each set that allowed us to grind out a win over a very good team. We celebrate our seniors on Sunday at 1 pm."

By the Numbers vs. New Hampshire
- Graduate student Emily Costello (Webster, N.Y.) led the way with 15 kills and 17 digs.
- Senior McKyla Brooks (Blasdell, N.Y.) tallied 11 kills and six blocks. 
- Junior Maria Poole (Stavanger, Norway) recorded 10 kills and three blocks. 
- Junior Kendra Harlow (St. James, N.Y.) and and junior Liz Pulver notched seven kills each.
- Junior LeAnne Sakowicz (Wauconda, Ill.) tallied 43 assists and 16 digs.
- Sophomore Kiani Kerstetter (Cardiff, Calif.) ended with 19 digs in the victory. 

Notes
- Stony Brook improves to 16-23 against the Wildcats.
- The team is now 8-0 against the America East in 2018.
- The Seawolves continued their winning ways, making it 11 in a row.
- With the win Stony Brook clinched a spot to play in the post season.
