STONY BROOK, N.Y.- The Stony Brook women's tennis team is back in action this weekend as they head to Missouri State University for the Missouri Valley Individual Championships. All draws will begin at 9:00 a.m.  

 "We're really looking forward to participating in the MVC Individual Championships this weekend. We only get to see our conference opponents twice a year, and this gives us an opportunity to see what we'll be up against in April. Last weekend at Army was very encouraging, and we plan to build off of that momentum," said head coach Gary Glassman.

Jamie Wei will face off with Jelena Vujanic of Valparaiso in flight one for singles. Maria Pinto Ribeiro will square off against Claudia Toledo of UNI in flight two. In flight three, Sasha Bekirova will take on Natalia Barbery of Bradley University. In flight four Ana Carrion-Rodriguez will face Kate Merrick of UNI. Lastly, in flight six Anastasia Koniaev will take on Isabella Schoolcraft of Valparaiso.

In doubles Wei/Cardoso will face Maletin/Barbery of Bradley University in flight one, and Ribeiro/Bekirova will take on Proudfoot/Caro of UNI in flight two.
