STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook swimming and diving team earned its first team victories of the season on Saturday afternoon at University Pool, downing both LIU (168-116) and Sacred heart (158-140) in a tri-meet.

"Today our women showed a lot of spirit, grit and a will to win. I couldn't be more proud of the way they came out from event one and didn't stop until event 16 ended. We won as a team and I'm excited for what's ahead for this group of women!"
HIGHLIGHTS
- Reagan MacDonald (Ottawa, Ontario), Michal Liberman (Rosh Haayin, Israel), Jessica Salmon (Rexford, N.Y.) and Maddy Enda (Chino Hills, Calif.) shined for the Seawolves, with the quartet laying claim to the team's nine individual victories.Â
- MacDonald secured three victories in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.54), 200 backstroke (2:05.95) and 200 IM (2:11.87).
- Liberman got a pair of wins in the 100 backstroke (57.50) and 100 butterfly (57.42).
- Salmon swept the breaststrokes, winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:07.11 and the 200 in 2:25.88.
- Sara Chin (Long Beach, Calif.) wasn't far behind Salmon in the 200 breaststroke, taking second in 2:28.14.
- Enda touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly (2:07.76) and 500 freestyle (5:16.64).
- Liberman, Salmon, Enda and Emma Waechter (Lewiston, N.Y.) also combined for a win in the 200 medley relay (1:48.76).
- On the diving boards, Stephanie Reiter (Howard Beach, N.Y.) paced the Seawolves on the 1-meter board, taking third with a score of 167.55.
- Valerie Reiter (Howard Beach, N.Y.) was fourth with a tally of 156.60 points.
- On the 3-meter, Valerie Reiter took third with a score of 185.60.
