Seawolves Drop Season Opener to No. 4 Penn State

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook men's lacrosse team dropped the season opener to visiting Penn State, the fourth-ranked team in the nation, 17-4, on Saturday afternoon in Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.

QUOTING THE SEAWOLVES
Head Coach Jim Nagle
"We ran into a very good team today. They are well coached and a very seasoned team. We had a game plan that proved to less effective than we wanted it to be. We are going to be a great team and have a lot a faith and confidence in the guys, but it was a disappointing first game here against a very good team."
