Gavin Heslop is one of three captains for the 2019 Stony Brook football season. We sat down with him and asked him what it meant to be elected as a captain for the upcoming Seawolves' football season.
Heslop, a 2018 second team All-CAA Football selection as a corner back, posted 59 total tackles, 10 pass break ups and scooped and scored on an 87-yard fumble recovery in the win over Richmond. Heslop has played in 33 career games with 25 starts and has recorded 144 total tackles and 22 pass break ups over his time on the field.
