STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The Stony Brook women's track and field team competed in its fifth meet of 2019 at the Fastrack National Invitational, hosted by the Staten Island Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility on Friday.
Coach Ronan's Thoughts
"Sarah Militano has impressed each week and continues to get better and better as we move towards the conference championships. Clodagh and Klaire had break through runs over the mile, both breaking the 5 minute mark and qualifying for the ECAC's for the first time, should be a big confidence boaster to both ladies and open up the door to more of this level of performance," said head coach
Andy Ronan.
"There were other competitive efforts throughout the team; Courtney and Emma in the Hurdles are making progress towards championship level efforts. But like every team we still have a few athletes that need to get better in next two weeks if they are going to contribute at the AE meet," added Ronan.
