Michael Bollinger (Holbrook, N.Y.) stellar performance in net and junior attacker
Tom Haun's (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) career-high six goals helped the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team to a 13-6 victory over America East foe Binghamton on Friday night in Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.
The Seawolves (5-4, 2-1 AE) spread the wealth offensively. Eight different players scored a goal including Haun, while Bollinger posted 13 saves in goal to secure the victory over the Bearcats (0-8, 0-2 AE).

- Tom Haun scored two of his goals in the second quarter, while junior attacker Cory VanGinhoven (Fort Mill, N.C.) and freshman midfielder Layton Harrell (Newtown, Conn.) also netted a goal in the quarter and the Seawolves held a 7-2 advantage at halftime.
- Tom Haun added two more goals in the third quarter and junior A/M Connor Grippe (Setauket, N.Y.) added a goal to lead Stony Brook to a 9-4 lead entering the fourth quarter.
- Junior A/M Chris Pickel Jr. (Bayport, N.Y.) scored in the fourth quarter to go with two more goals my Tom Haun to complete the evening's scoring for Stony Brook.
- Stony Brook improved to 14-6 all-time against Binghamton that includes a 7-3 record in LaValle Stadium.
- The Seawolves have now won three straight games in LaValle Stadium.
NOTES
- Tom Haun scored a career-high six goals on Friday night. He now has 23 goals this season and 68 career goals. Friday marked his fourth hat trick of the season and 10th of his career. He also extended his consecutive games with a goal streak to nine.
- Haun also dished out one assist on Friday and collected a career-best seven points in the game.
- Layton Harrell has now scored a goal in each of the last four games for Stony Brook.
- Connor Grippe extended his consecutive goals scored streak to three straight games.
- Cory VanGinhoven also extended his consecutive goals scored streak to three straight games.
- Sophomore attacker Jack Walsh (Miller Place, N.Y.) dished out an assist on Friday and now has an assist in five straight games.
- Michael Bollinger picked up his 14th career victory and recorded 13 saves in Friday's victory.

The Seawolves will play a pair of non-conference games next week beginning with a Tuesday tilt at St. John's in Queens at 3 p.m. Stony Brook then returns to LaValle Stadium to host Princeton at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
