Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Fifteen Seawolves Find the Net in 21-4 Victory Over Hartford

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook women's lacrosse team had another big offensive outing on Wednesday night, recording its second-straight 20-goal game in a 21-4 win over Hartford at LaValle Stadium.

Fifteen different players got on the scoreboard and 14 scores were assisted to help the team move to a perfect 3-0 in America East play.

QUOTING HEAD COACH Joe Spallina
"It was a great opportunity for us to play a home game against a conference opponent. We were able to get every player on our team some meaningful minutes. Fourteen of our 21 goals were assisted which is a stat we take great pride in. I think one of our main goals to start the season is to win our conference and host the tournament so we know that this was a necessary step along the way. Fifteen different goal scorers is an incredible stat and one of the things that is really important to our program is player development so when you see two back-to-back games with double-digit goal scorers, it's a really good sign."
