STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- Thanks to early goals by
Jarred Dass (Marabella, Trinidad) and
Gustavo Fernandes (West Babylon, N.Y.) and tight second-half defense, the Stony Brook men's soccer team topped Hofstra, 2-1 on Wednesday night from Hofstra Soccer Stadium.
Quoting head coach Ryan Anatol
"Our guys competed really well tonight. Hofstra is a very difficult team to play against, very physical and good on restarts. But our guys defended really well in those situations and were dangerous in the attack."
