ALBANY, N.Y. — The Stony Brook volleyball team came up short on Sunday afternoon, dropping a straight set decision to UAlbany in the capital district. The Seawolves were close in the first and third sets of the match but ultimately fell 25-22, 25-12, 25-23.
Enitan Omolewa led the way with eight kills and
Abby Campbell chipped in six to lead the squad's attack but they ultimately couldn't get it rolling, finishing with a .116 hitting percentage.
STATS AND NOTES
- Sophomore Torri Henry came two digs from a double double, dishing 23 assists and recording eight digs.
- Campbell led the way defensively with four block assists, while Omolewa chipped in three.
- Lauren Schmitz dropped in two of Stony Brook's three aces on the day.

The Seawolves begin a three-game homestand on Friday night, welcoming New Hampshire to Pritchard Gymnasium. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. on the north shore of Long Island.
