SERIES HISTORY: Stony Brook has posted an 8-4 all-time record against St. Francis and is 4-2 against the Terriers in its Division I era. The Seawolves have won each of the last two meetings with the Terriers. Stony Brook knocked off St. Francis, 86-73, on November 5, 2019, in the 2019-20 season opener at the Daniel Lynch Gymnasium in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.
India Pagan posted a double-double against the Terriers with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Stony Brook picked up a win over St. Francis the last time the teams met inside Island Federal Arena on December 30, 2018. The Seawolves defeated the Terriers, 74-67, on the Island.
McKenzie Bushee came off the bench to record a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
LAST TIME OUT: Stony Brook used an offensive explosion to knock off New York foe Columbia, 91-82, on Wednesday afternoon. The Seawolves were led by five student-athletes who scored in double figures as they improved to 6-0, their best start to a season in program history. There was no shortage of offense in New York City on Thanksgiving Eve as Stony Brook erupted for a season-high 91 points. The 91 points were the most that the Seawolves scored in a game since they scored 96 points on February 24, 2007, against Vermont. The 91 points were the second-most that Stony Brook has scored in a single-game in its Division I era. It marked the second time this season that the Seawolves had five student-athletes finish a game in double figures. Stony Brook also had five score in double-digits in the season opener against Delaware State on November 9.
Gigi Gonzalez led the way with a career-high 21 points as she did a bulk of her damage from the free-throw line by converting 14-of-16 attempts.
SIX AND OH!: As of November 26, Stony Brook is one of just five teams in the nation that are 6-0. The Seawolves are joined by BYU, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Wake Forest at 6-0 to start the season. Stony Brook is one of 43 teams in the nation that are undefeated. The 6-0 start marks the best start to a season in program history for the Seawolves.

The Seawolves are slated to play six more New York state opponents this season: St. Francis Brooklyn, Fordham, Marist, Hofstra, Binghamton (twice), and UAlbany (twice).
