LOWELL, Mass. — The Stony Brook men's soccer team closed its season on a down note.
Kori Cupid scored with his left foot in the 48th minute, but UMass Lowell rallied for a 2-1 win on Friday afternoon.
Freshman
Carlos Zabarburu made his collegiate debut and played solidly. He surrendered the tying score on a penalty kick in the 72nd minute and then the game-winner in the 88 th minute.
Trevor Mueller also made his collegiate debut.

Edmond Kaiser and backup
Curtis Copenhaver nursing injuries.
One other down note: Saever Fylkisson suffered an injury early in the second half after getting tangled racing down the sideline.
Stony Brook concluded the spring season 1-6-1 overall and 1-4-1 in America East.
