UAlbany completed a sweep of a three-game series with a 3-1 win on Sunday.
The loss dropped Stony Brook into a first-place tie with UMBC at 9-4.
Dawn Bodrug was charged with three runs on three hits and two walks in 3 2/3 innings.
Melissa Rahrich then limited the Great Danes to one hit in 2 1/3 scoreless relief innings.
Stony Brook's lone run came on
Julianna Sanzone's run-scoring groundout that plated
Riley Craig and opened the scoring in the second inning.
Jourdin Hering went 3-for-4 in the defeat.
The Seawolves next face St. John's on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Queens.
