STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Defensive back
TJ Morrison led Stony Brook football in the classroom in addition to the gridiron.
And he has been honored as a result with CoSIDA Academic All-District recognition.
The 5-foot-11, 187-pound Morrison signed with the Las Vegas Raiders after Stony Brook's spring season.
Morrison, who earned his undergraduate degree in business management, played four years with the Seawolves, totaling 40 games (27 starts). He tallied 109 career tackles (85 solo), two interceptions, 18 passes defensed, five tackles ofr loss and one forced fumble.
He also was a nominee for the National Football Foundation's William V. Campbell Trophy.
