THE BASICS: Stony Brook and Morgan State are set to go head-to-head for the first time in history on Saturday, November 5, at 1 p.m. The game will air on FloFootball with Jonny Wincott (play-by-play), Sam Kornhauser (analyst), and Sam Neidermann on the call.
THE MATCHUP: The meeting with Morgan State marks just the second for the Seawolves against a current MEAC member. Stony Brook last took on a current member of the MEAC when they defeated Howard, 14-9, on November 7, 2015, at LaValle Stadium.
RETURN TO LAVALLE: The Seawolves are back at LaValle Stadium for the first time since they picked up a thrilling 28-27 win over Maine on Homecoming on Saturday, October 22. Stony Brook outscored Maine, 20-7, in the second half to secure its first win of the season and improved to 13-3 on Homecoming under Coach Priore.
RUN THE FOOTBALL: Stony Brook's ground attack has been a driving force behind its offensive success. Since the start of the 2018 season, the Seawolves have rushed for over 100 yards as a team in 39 of their 47 games played. Stony Brook eclipsed the 100-yard mark 49 times out of their last 59 games dating back to the start of the 2017 season.
