th time the Seawolves and Great Danes will go head-to-head. Stony Brook currently holds a 28-36 record against UAlbany. The first time these two teams saw each other was on Feb. 7, 1987, where the Seawolves defeated the Great Danes, 81-73, in Stony Brook, N.Y. The last time these two teams faced-off was Jan. 22, 2021, where Stony Brook defeated UAlbany, 58-47, at The Island.

DOUBLE-DIGIT DEETS: The 20 points scored by Pagan marked the third time this season the forward has scored 20 or more points. Pagan currently leads the Seawolves in games finished in double-digits as she has recorded double figures in 18 games this season. Warren follows closely behind the Connecticut native recording 17 games this season in double-digits.

TRENDING UPWARD: Stony Brook secured their 700
th victory in program history over UMBC on Wednesday, February 16. The Seawolves' 23 wins this season are the sixth-most in program history and the fourth-most in its Division I era. Stony Brook has won 20 or more games in three out of the last four seasons and collected a program record 28 victories during the 2019-20 campaign. For the fourth week in a row, Stony Brook has received votes in the WBCA Top 25 Coaches Poll on Tuesday, February 22.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES: The Great Danes fell to the Black Bears, 49-45, on Wednesday, February 23, at SEFCU Arena. With the loss, UAlbany dropped to 19-9 (12-5 America East) on the season. Â UAlbany's scoring offense is led by unior forward Helene Haegerstrand. Haegerstrand leads the scoring for the Great Danes averaging 12.1 points over 28 starts. Sophomore guard Kayla Cooper follows behind Haegerstrand averaging 11.3 points over 28 games (17 starts). Â Head coach Colleen Mullen is in her fourth year at the helm of UAlbany. Mullen led the Great Danes to the America East semifinals where they were defeated by Maine, 67-47, during the 2020-21 campaign. Mullen joined UAlbany after spending even seasons at Army West Point.
