STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Stony Brook University men's track and field program competed at the Penn 10-Team Select, hosted by Pennsylvania University at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Stony Brook's Shane Henderson, Evan Brennan and Collin Gilstrap finished in the top three spots, respectively, in the 3,000-meter with IC4A qualifying times.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Henderson was the individual winner in the 3,000-meter run, finishing in 8:11.09.
• Brennan (8:13.44) and Gilstrap (8:14.69) followed closely behind Henderson, taking second and third place in the 3,000-meter. Michael Fama placed eighth in the event, with an 8:30.02 clocking.
• Henderson, Brennan and Gilstrap all posted qualifying times for the IC4A in the 3,000-meter.
• Seth Hilario raced to a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing in 8.51.

"Tonight was about getting the holiday period out of our system and seeing what we need to do in the weeks ahead to be prepared for the championship part of the season," head coach Andy Ronan noted. "Overall, it was a solid night and something to build on."
