Clackett & Weigele Represent Women's Track & Field at Friar Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Rebecca Clackett and Grace Weigele represented the Stony Brook women's track and field program at the Friar Invitational on Friday. Both runners produced top-five finishes in their respective events.

HIGHLIGHTS

Weigele placed third in the 3,000-meter, completing the event in 9:31.88.
Clackett took fifth place in the mile, clocking in at 4:48.95, posting a 1:10.68 clocking in her final split to finish the event strong.

NEXT UP
The Seawolves are slated to compete at both the Virginia Challenge, hosted by the University of Virginia, and the Mark Young Invitational, hosted by Yale. The Virginia Challenge begins on Friday, April 19 and concludes the following day. The Mark Young Invitational is a one-day event hosted on Saturday, April 20 in New Haven, Connecticut.
