MONMOUTH, N.J. — Stony Brook women's track and field competed on Saturday at the Monmouth Home Opener, earning three top-eight placements on the day.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Danielle Cirrito finished third with a strong run in the 1,500-meter (4:36.54).
• Alexis Buskey recorded a fifth-place finish in the 1,500-meter (4:40.14).
• Sophia Squires produced a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter (2:19.12).

UP NEXT
The outdoor season continues next Friday and Saturday when Stony Brook travels to Virginia for the Colonial Relays.
