RICHMOND, Va. – Catherine Anne Kupinski was named the CAA Softball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. 

Kupinski slashed .625/.684/1.063 in a 5-0 week for Stony Brook. Kupinski was 10-16 at the plate with three extra-base hits (two homers), seven runs scored and nine runs batted in, adding three stolen bases. Kupinski hit safely and drove in a run in all five games, registering three multi-hit games and two multi-RBI efforts. She has also now reached base safely in 16 straight games.

Stony Brook returns to action at Iona on Tuesday, April 23. The Seawolves and Gaels are set for a 3 p.m. first pitch from Donald E. Walsh Field, with the contest streaming live on ESPN+.
