8/8/2024 2:00:00 PM

RICHMOND, Va. – The CAA announced its men's basketball conference pairings for the 2024-25 season on Thursday afternoon. Stony Brook will face each of the other 13 league members as part of an 18-game conference slate.

Stony Brook's slate consists of five repeat (home-and-away) opponents, four home-only opponents, and four away-only opponents. Two of the five repeat opponents have been designated as "permanent opponents" to preserve regional rivalries and geographic ties.

The Seawolves five repeat opponents are Hofstra, Monmouth, North Carolina A&T, Northeastern and Towson. Hofstra and Northeastern have been designated as Stony Brook's permanent opponents. The Seawolves four home-only matchups will be Campbell, Drexel, Elon and William & Mary. The four away-only opponents are Charleston, Delaware, Hampton and UNC Wilmington.

Conference games will primarily be slated for a Thursday/Saturday schedule with some contests played on Mondays.
