STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The Stony Brook football team has received votes in the latest FCS Top 25 poll, as announced by the AFCA and Stats Perform organizations this morning. 

This marks the second straight week that the Seawolves received national attention as they collected votes from the AFCA FCS Top 25 last week. 

A season-high six CAA Football teams were ranked in the latest FCS Top 25 polls. In the AFCA Top 25 poll, Villanova led the way at No. 6, followed by William & Mary at No. 12, New Hampshire at No. 20, and UAlbany and Richmond tied for No. 23. For the Stats Perform Top 25 poll, Villanova came in at No. 6, then William & Mary at No. 11, followed by UAlbany at No. 21, Rhode Island at No. 22 and New Hampshire rounding out the top 25 at No. 24. 

Stony Brook and Monmouth both received votes in the AFCA and Stats Perform Top 25 list. 

The Seawolves return home to host Morgan State on Saturday, September 28. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. from LaValle Stadium with the contest streaming live on FloFootball.
