  • Goslar set a new PR in the mile (4.58.37) to advance to tomorrow's finals.
  • Clackett ran the mile in 4:59.04, advancing to tomorrow's mile run finals.

QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES

"Day 1 was a bit of a mixed bag for both teams. The mile was good, with Ryan, Ethan, Rebecca, and Shaylen all advancing to tomorrow's finals," head coach Andy Ronan noted. "We had hoped to get more from the 5K's, but it didn't play out that way; it was just one of those days for both 5000m groups. I was pleased with both DMR relays; both were very competitive, particularly the guys, as they were in contention for the win until late in the event. Time to refuel, rest up, and come back tomorrow with a little more fight."
