VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.- The Stony Brook women's track and field team wrapped up competition at the 2025 CAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday. Shaylen Goslar and Rebecca Clackett posted strong runs in the mile run finals, recording points for the Seawolves.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Goslar scored points in the mile run, finishing fourth. Her time of 4:53.21 was a new season-best and PR.
  • Clackett finished eighth in the mile run, scoring a point with a 5:00.95 clocking.
QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES
"Pleased with the efforts we saw today and also because we saw a glimpse of what the future may hold for the program as a couple of our freshmen led the way," head coach Andy Ronan noted. "Shaylen performed much like Ethan, taking 4th spot in the mile with a similar improvement in her best time for the distance. Rebecca fought hard for her scoring position.
Not the championship we had hoped for, but some encouraging results to build on."
