After intermission, Delaware snatched a 47-36 lead before Stony Brook answered back by going on yet another 5-0 run, punctuated by a basket from Ware, to trim its deficit to 47-41 with 2:32 to go in the third. Delaware countered and stretched its lead to 56-43 heading into the fourth.

QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES

"Tough loss, tough stretch for us with losing quite a few in a row," noted head coach Joy McCorvey. "We just have to keep chopping away, got to get better. We had a little more depth tonight which helped us, but we have to defend. We just have to keep getting better on the defensive end. Offensively, we had some good stuff, the right people had the right shots. We'll move on to Sunday."
