RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook softball's Alyssa Costello and Nicole Allen were tabbed the CAA Player and Rookie of the Week after helping the Seawolves to a sweep of Monmouth and their 11th consecutive conference win this weekend.

Costello slashed .643/.667/1.357 in a 3-1 week for Stony Brook, registering nine hits with five going for extra bases (a double, three triples and a home run). She drove in five runs, scored six times and stole three bases. Costello hit safely in all four games, registering multiple hits in each contest.

Allen hit safely in all four games this week with a triple, a home run, two runs and seven RBI. Allen plated five runs in the first inning of Stony Brook's win over Monmouth on Saturday. She hit a triple and plated two more runs to help Stony Brook complete the sweep on Sunday, notching an 11th straight win in conference play.

Allen, Costello and the Seawolves return to action on Tuesday, April 15 at FDU. The Seawolves resume conference play this weekend, heading to face the reigning CAA Champions, UNC Wilmington, on Friday, April 18.
