RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook softball's Gabrielle Maday was tabbed the CAA Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Maday made three appearances during the week, going 2-0 with one save and no runs allowed across 15.1 innings. Maday struck out 15 hitters, limited opponents to just nine hits and a .167 batting average against. She registered a nine-out save against Wagner, earned a win in relief against Hofstra and ended her week with a complete-game shutout of Hofstra.
