SPARKS, Md. – Four Seawolves were tabbed USA Lacrosse All-Americans as announced by the organization on Thursday evening. Senior defender Avery Hines (Second Team), graduate attack Charlotte Wilmoth (Honorable Mention), sophomore midfielder Isabella Caporuscio (Honorable Mention), and senior attack Casey Colbert (Honorable Mention) took home All-American honors.
 
Hines, the CAA Defensive Player of the Year, anchored the Seawolves' defense as a member of the Tewaaraton Watch List, a two-time IWLCA Defensive Player of the Week (March 24, May 6), a seven-time CAA Defensive Player of the Week (February 24, March 10, March 24, March 31, April 7, April 14, April 28), and an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American. The senior defender caused a team-high 75 turnovers and picked up 51 ground balls through 19 games in the regular season and CAA Championship for the Seawolves. Her 75 caused turnovers are a single-season program best (behind her 66 caused turnovers last season) and she sits atop the all-time caused turnover record with 135 total over her four-year career. She ranks second in the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.53) and leads the CAA in both caused turnovers and ground balls per game (2.68).
 
Wilmoth has had a standout season for the Seawolves, being named an All-CAA First Team selection and leading the offense with 89 points (62 goals, 27 assists), adding eight ground balls and three caused turnovers. She took home CAA Player of the Week twice this season (March 31, April 14) and ranks second in the league in points per game (4.68) and in goals per game (3.26), sixth in shots per game (5.89), and eighth in assists per game (1.42). The graduate finished top 20 in the nation in both total points and goals, while registering a team-high 17 multi-point games and 15 multi-goal games.
 
Caporuscio recorded 65 points on 46 goals and 19 assists, along with 75 draw controls, 50 ground balls, and 33 caused turnovers through 19 games this season. In the CAA, she ranks second in ground balls per game (2.63), third in caused turnovers per game (1.74), seventh in draw controls per game (3.95), and 10^th in shots per game (5.47). She opened the season with a career performance at Bryant, recording eight points on six goals and two assists before notching a season-high 11 draw controls over UAlbany. She grabbed six ground balls against both ranked Johns Hopkins and Hofstra, while recording four caused turnovers in three contests. Along with her statistical accolades, Caporuscio was named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American and unanimous CAA Midfielder of the Year.
 
The All-CAA Second Teamer, Colbert, has recorded 74 points (22 goals, 52 assists) in 19 games this season. She leads the team and CAA in total assists and assists per game (2.74), while ranking ninth in the nation. She dished out a career-high five assists against Towson, Monmouth, and Drexel and registered three or more assists in 10 games. Her 52 total assists are currently seventh-most in a single-season in program history.
 
The Seawolves are back in action for the NCAA Tournament First Round on Friday, May 9 at 4 p.m. as they go head-to-head with No. 17 Loyola Maryland, hosted by No. 3 Boston College. The Seawolves are 0-3 in the all-time series against the Greyhounds. Most recently, a 9-8 loss in the 2023 NCAA Tournament Second Round.
