NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - Due to inclement weather expected over the weekend, Stony Brook softball's weekend doubleheader at CCSU has been canceled.

Originally scheduled for a two-day round robin with four total games against CCSU and Holy Cross, the event was cut down to a single doubleheader against the Blue Devils on Sunday, March 1, before being canceled entirely due to heavy snow in the area.

The Seawolves will now return to action with the start of CAA play next week when they head over to Hempstead, N.Y. to begin a three-game series with rival Hofstra on Friday March 6 at 3 p.m.
