BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Stony Brook women's tennis continued its down south road trip on Tuesday, falling 4-3 in a highly contested matchup to Campbell.
The Seawolves started the match with wins in all three sets of doubles play.
Mia Palladino and
Elena Lobo-Corral easily won the first set, while
Paisha Douglas and
Sanjana Devineni, along with
Cornelia Bruu-Syversen and
Kristi Boro, achieved similar results with victories in sets two and three.
Lobo-Corral and
Laura Ozola would go on to win their matches in singles competition, as Campbell won four matches of its own, squeaking by for the close 4-3 win over Stony Brook.

- Glen (CAM) def. Bruu-Syversen (SBU) 6-0, 6-2
- Ozola (SBU) def. Caroll (CAM), 6-3, 7-6, (7-5).
