PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. — Stony Brook women's tennis picked up its third straight win on Sunday morning, defeating Long Island Foe Hofstra 6-1 in a Battle of Long Island matchup.
The Seawolves started strong with a sweep in doubles play to earn the point, thanks to wins from
Mia Palladino/
Elena Lobo-Corral,
Paisha Douglas/
Sanjana Devineni, and
Laura Ozola/
Mila Charles.
That momentum would carry into singles play, as Stony Brook took five out of the six matches with individual wins in straight sets by Lobo-Corral, Douglas, Devineni, Ozola, and
Kristi Boro.
