2021: Drafted by hometown Calgary Roughnecks of National Lacrosse League in first round (14th overall) on Sept. 17, 2020.

2020: Selected captain for third straight season ... America East Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Played in all seven games ... Netted a pair of goals and dished out one assist ... Had 18 ground balls ... Scored against Hofstra in the win on Feb. 25 and in the OT victory over Sacred Heart on March 3. 

2019: Second-team All-America East...Played in all 15 games...Tallied a pair of goals and three assists...Also collected 11 ground balls and forced nine turnovers...His goals came against Marist and Vermont...Had assists on the road at Brown and Hofstra as well as at Hartford.

2018: Played in 14 games, making five starts ... Served as team captain ... Picked up seven ground balls and assisted a goal at Fairfield ... Put away a goal and caused three turnovers against No. 9 Virginia ... Grabbed five ground balls at No. 1 Albany ... Had an assist in the win over St. John's ... Had two ground balls against Princeton, No. 16 Vermont and UMass Lowell. 

2017: Played in 14 games, making five starts ... Caused a turnover and grabbed a ground ball in the win at St. John's ... Picked up three ground balls in the win at No. 10 Brown ... Had three ground balls at No. 7 Hofstra ... Caused a turnovers and picked up three ground balls against No. 13 Princeton ... Had an assist, ground ball and caused turnover in the win at Vermont ... Scored a goal and picked up four ground balls in the overtime win at Vermont ... Had two ground balls against Binghamton. 

High School: A 2016 graduate of Robert Thirsk High School ... Captained lacrosse team 2010-14 ... Was named captain of his hockey team from 2009-2013 ... Was on the honor roll.  

Personal: Son of Robert and Carol Matsuoka ... Brother of Alex Matsuoka ... Father played hockey at St. Fx ... Biology major ... Linguistics as well as ecosystems and human impact minors ... Earned bachelor's degree in December 2020.
