Biography

2018-19: Played and started in 30 games… Averaged 16.5 points and 4.3 rebounds… Recorded team-highs in points (496), assists (228) and steals (73) along with 128 rebounds and one block… Scored double-digit points in 28 games… Notched eight double-doubles… Tallied conference-record 16 assists vs. Vermont (3/6) in the America East Quarterfinals… Seven made threes at Binghamton (1/9) tied school record… Recorded season bests in points (28), rebounds (7) and steals (6) each three times… Holds program records in career (191) and single-season (96) threes as well as single-season assists… Also ranks in the top-10 in career scoring average (16.2), 3-point percentage (.343), free throw percentage (.785) and assists (397) in addition to single-season points… Put on Dawn Staley Award Midseason Watchlist… Named America East First Team All-Conference and MBWA All-Met Second Team… Named America East Player of the Week five times (11/19), (11/26), (12/3), (12/31) and (1/14).

2017-18: Started in all 30 games for the Seawolves, posting 16.0 points, 5.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds per contest… Tallied double-digit point totals in 24 games… Scored season-high 29 points at Albany (1/27)… Record season-high 10 assists at Hartford (2/3)… Made 95 total 3-pointers, a new single-season program record… Named to America East All-First Team… Named MBWA All-Met Third Team… Named America East Player of the Week twice (11/13) & (1/12)…

Before Stony Brook: Johnson played two seasons at Monroe College in New Rochelle, New York, where she was an NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American this past year. The 5-1 guard led the Mustangs with 21.2 points per game in 2016-17 for a Monroe team that went 21-7 and advanced to the NJCAA national tournament. Johnson had 16 games of 20 or more points and six of 30 or more. Prior to Monroe, Johnson was a 1,000-point scorer at Tuscarora High School in Frederick, Maryland.
