2018: Played in 11 games with eight starts at TE...Pulled down six receptions for 36 yards...Made his first catch as a Seawolf in the win over Villanova (9/29)...Caught a season-best three passes for 14 yards in the win over Delaware (11/10).

Prior to Stony Brook: Spent three seasons at the University of Michigan, including a redshirt season...During his time with the Wolverines he played in 24 games with six receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. 

High School: Played for coach Rich Robbins ar Canisius High School and collected 27 catches for 372 yards and four touchdowns on his was to earning All-Area honors...Was named a four-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com and was ranked as the No. 13 TE nationally and No. 1 in New York State...ESPN.com also ranked him as the 12th overall prospect in the nation. 

Personal: Son of former Michigan standout and NFL running back Tyrone Wheatley, who is currently the RB coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
