Prior to Stony Brook: Transfer Linebacker from South Florida with two years of eligibility. Johnson was consensus three-star recruit in high school and was a first-team Florida 7A all-state selection as a senior. The 63rd-ranked LB in the nation made an immediate impact at South Florida on Special Teams and as a reserve Linebacker in his true freshman season. Over his two years with the Bulls, Johnson appeared in 18 games and piled up 13 tackles, one interception and two passes defended.
